A fantastic white shark has been filmed attacking and killing a a lot bigger humpback whale for the primary time within the waters off South Africa.
The vicious assault was filmed by drone by Ryan Johnson, a marine biologist, who mentioned the complete incident lasted about 50 minutes. It’s the primary time scientists have recorded footage of a shark taking down a whale of this measurement.
What makes it extraordinary is how tactical the shark seems to be with the kill.
The predator managed to sever an artery within the whale’s tail – it’s weakest half – earlier than dragging it underwater to drown.
